Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Truth Be Told. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, The Defenders, The Star, Almost Christmas). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Apple Music and is expected to be available in other digital music stores next year. Truth Be Told is created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman and stars Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul, Lizzy Caplan, Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood and Ron Cephas Jones. The only movie opening nationwide this week is the live-action/animated feature Playmobil: The Movie directed by Lino DiSalvo and starring Anya- Taylor Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman, Kenan Thompson and Daniel Radcliffe. The film’s original music is composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie). Opening in select theaters before premiering on Amazon Prime on December 20 is the adventure drama The Aeronauts directed by Tom Harper and starring Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Tom Courtenay and Himesh Patel. Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Suicide Squad, Baby Driver, Fury) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror thriller Black Christmas. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Blair & Brooke Blair (Green Room, Hold the Dark, The Informer, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Blue Ruin). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 13 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes. Black Christmas is co-written and directed by Sophia Takal and stars Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Lily Donoghue, Brittany O’Grady, Caleb Eberhardt, Simon Mead and Carl Elwes. ‘The Italian Job’ 50th Anniversary Expanded Soundtrack Album Announced

Quartet Records will release a new soundtrack album for the 1969 caper comedy The Italian Job directed by Peter Collinson, produced by Michael Deeley and starring Michael Caine and Noël Coward. The album features the expanded original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Quincy Jones (The Color Purple, The Getaway, Mackenna’s Gold), including the opening credits track On Days Like These sung by Matt Monro and Getta Bloomin’ Move On performed by Self Preservation Society. The 50th Anniversary Expanded Edition will be available to order this coming Monday on the label’s official website and will also be available to purchase on Amazon soon. Walt Disney Records has released the fifth soundtrack album for the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. The album features the original music from Chapter 5 of the show written by Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Goransson (Black Panther, Creed, Venom, Community, Fruitvale Station).
